Review of the Canon 500D Close-Up Lens

If you are interested in macro photography then the Canon 500D close-up lens can be a good introduction to this exciting area without the expense of a separate macro lens.

The lens attaches to your camera by threading on the filter thread of your standard lens. It will be used primarily with a telephoto lens with a focal length of 70mm-300mm. The Canon 500D Close-up lens works by increasing the magnification of the lens actually closer to theSubject.

Installation of close-up lens is very simple and in a few seconds, and I can manage. The pictures taken with the Canon 500D Close-Up Lens generally produce very good results but are not as good as a dedicated macro lens. The add-on is easy to transport and store in your camera bag so if it is the space for a dedicated macro lens have, then it is a good alternative.

The Canon 500D Close-up lens using a dual-element, which produces much better resultsas a single element like add-ons, so I would not recommend a single element instead of this.

Be used in the depth of the field seemed to be flat so that the concentration could be a bit difficult and to be the final recordings appeared to lose a little focus on the edges.

There are some things to do, this lens is that a macro can not. For example, fixing the lens on a 70mm-300mm telephoto lens allows you to get closer shots when you're still far away from the subject. I would recommend that in any caseUsing a tripod, unless otherwise shake the camara can be a problem.

If you buy one of these?
